Nice surprises

I hope all of you had a wonderful christmas. I just had my last family christmas party last night. I hardly knew anyone for it was not my family...lol....but i still managed to have a great time. Thats all that really counts for me anyway. It is New Years Eve morning and I am stuck working most of the day. Yuck! But for the first time in a long time i have plans to get together with friends to ring in the new year. The girls are going with us which is nothing new for me. I always have them which is great. I am the designated driver for the evening so i know we'll be safe. The girls had a great christmas. They surprised me actually. My ex always manages to outshine on the holidays and the girls always seem disappointed in what i get them. But this year even though he got the cooler stuff.....lol.....the girls were really great. So just when i think i have them figured out, they show me a new side. I must go for now. I hope you all have a great and wonderful new year!
